About MacTuff Kids

Unwrap the family from the cotton wool and develop the potential through obstacle course running together.

3k of a true family test through mud, water and obstacles to suit all abilities.

MacTuff Kids aims to challenge both child and adult by having 2 obstacles the same but different heights. This enables both adult and child to get the best value for money and the best possible experience to earn your Medal.

Adults participate alongside their supervised children; it is essential for at least 1 adult is registered for every 5 children at older age levels. Younger children should be supervised at a much higher level, up to 1 adult

for each child participating.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION

  • Who needs to buy a ticket?
    Anyone that is participating in the course event must have a valid ticket. Spectators are always free and do not need to buy a ticket to access the event, although there may be some areas where spectators are restricted from.
  • What is included in the ticket price?
    We try to include everything we can in the ticket price. For participants this includes; free t-shirt, free medal, on course and finish line drink/water, free parking, free spectators and at events where stated it is available – free camping.
  • What age do children need to be to participate?
    Children must be a minimum age of 5 to participate. At this age they must have 1-1 guidance from a participating adult. From age 6 upwards we recommend a sliding scale of adult participation guidance. All children require a minimum guidance from an adult of 5-1.
  • Do you do group discounts?
    Our prices are at the minimum level they can be and it is not possible for us to discount. You can be confident that everyone is paying the same price when you book and we will never make offers for later entries. Those that choose to enter closer to the event date may have to pay a small premium for doing so.
  • Can I cancel or change my booking?
    Bookings are non-refundable but we do offer options for you to make changes. Up to 1 month prior to the event - Changes up to 1 month prior to the event cost £5 plus any difference in the entry fee at the time of the change. Changes made within 1 month of the event are charged at £7.50 per ticket plus any difference in entry fee at the time of change. To change the name on a ticket or start time or to change the date of your booking to another event – – email us with the name(s) and details of changes required. Other changes, please advise us of what you need to change and we will try our best to help you. Please refrain from making changes within 7 days of the event as these will further fees dependent upon exactly what is being changed. On the day changes cannot be made.

    No, we do not accept bookings on the event day under any circumstances. All bookings are in advance.
